Tulihal Airport or also known as Imphal International Airport caters to the city of Imphal. In the North-eastern region, it was the second airport to be built. After Guwahati, Imphal International Airport is also the second largest busiest airport. The airport is situated at about 8 km to the south of Imphal. The airport connects North-eastern India to many major cities of India. Airports Authority of India manage and administer the Imphal International Airport. It comprises of an integrated terminal for both- international and domestic flights. There are two arrival and two departure gates at the airport.
